County, Michigan
You're not alone! There are approximately
40,000 Democratic voters in Ottawa County, and many
additional residents who describe themselves as independent
voters. Your active support can increase these numbers
and provide a needed balance for the benefit of all
Ottawa County residents.
The Ottawa County Democrats are
a component of the Michigan Democratic Party.
Our mission is to promote the ideals, issues and
candidates of the Democratic Party at all levels
of government
and specifically those that impact the residents
of Ottawa County at the county and state levels.
Our primary direction comes from
our County Committee, a broad selection of party members.
A smaller group, the Executive Committee handles matters
when the larger group is not in session. Officers
are chosen from each group.
We hope you find this site informative
and, above all, useful. If you are a resident
of Ottawa County we also hope you’ll join us, become
active and help promote the Democratic Party.
The Ottawa County Democratic Party Headquarters is located at 1 West 5th St. in Holland and is used for monthly meetings, committee meetings, young Democrat meetings and other special events.
